For our wedding anniversary, I wanted to try to do something that we'd never done before. Getting a chartered boat for a day cruise along the Chesapeake Bay was certainly a memorable way to spend the day, in no small part due to the efforts of Cap'n Joe. The weather was wonderful, which he had nothing to do with, but he took us on a wonderful round trip on the Bay so we could get back to our son on-time in the evening. The vessel was magnificent! It was well worth the expense and was honestly impressive. I'd definitely do this again with friends. Simply outstanding.

My family and I had a wonderful experience aboard Caption Gus’ boat! Though at times the water was rough Caption Gus kept calm and made adjustments ultimately keeping us safe! Caption Gus spent Father’s Day afternoon with us.; and we greatly appreciate it.

Gus took us on an incredible trip! From the beginning of the day he was easy to communicate with and accommodating to our group and the weather. He welcomed us onto the boat and allowed us to help with what we were comfortable with. He entertained us with stories and made us feel right at home. Would highly recommend!!

Captain Gus is a very experienced sailor and isn’t fazed by much of anything. We were comfortable with him as our captain and enjoyed chatting with him as our host. He gave us all jobs within the limits of what we were comfortable with. We had a day with a crisp breeze and gusts to 25 knots.

Definitely worth the price! The owner was very friendly and understanding. We were late for our booking, but he still gave us the full time we booked for. It was a very relaxing boat ride and the weather was perfect, which made everything better! I definitely reccomend Augustus.

Captain Jess, the catamaran, the outing, the sights, all of it EXCEEDED our group’s expectations (which were already high going in)!! We immediately felt comfortable and secure in Captain Jess upon initial meeting (especially because he quickly outlined safety rules first - green flag!) and the hours out on the water became the highlight of my sister’s bachelorette weekend - we will be forever grateful!
