   Snorkel & Turtle Adventure on our 43' Bertram Yacht in Nassau

   Our party of 10 had a great time on the boat. The crew was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and they did an excellent job setting up the fishing gear for us and stopping at a great snorkelling spot and beautiful beach. One thing to mention is that we were missing the front cushions for a bit more comfort but there was a bench upstairs that seats three comfortably in front of the captain’s seat. Getting to the front of the boat was a little challenging (narrow), but manageable. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable excursion, and we would book it again.

   Spending the day with Captain Fred was the highlight of our whole week in Florida. No better way to see the sights than from his boat. He was knowledgeable, friendly, relaxed and just so open to whatever we wanted to see. He took us to Cabbage Key as requested and then he showed us some absolutely lovely spots around the area. I mentioned that I wanted to see dolphins and he clearly went above and beyond finding them, coaxing them to play around out boat and just providing an over the top magical experience. It was so hot and his cooler with bottled water was a life saver. If you are into the luxe amenities, he also has a blender for mixed drinks, covered area, bathroom facilities...basically anything you could possibly want. I would highly recommend Captain Fred and we are already looking forward to our next trip!

   This is the BEST way to see the sites! Fred will give you many suggestions ahead of time, and help plan whether you want a quiet, or busier adventure. We had great communication prior to trip. Although we had our input as to our likes, we trusted Fred to plan the day. He did not disappoint. We had dolphins swimming in our wake. Explored Cabbage Key, saw tortoises, then off to spend leisure time on a quiet beach. There, Kyle set up beach chairs and umbrella, Fred helped blend up some frosty drinks. AND they are just overall really nice guys. Fun to visit with and very knowledgeable about the area, with many facts about the gulf. We would definitely do this trip again!

   You will not regret booking Captain Fred’s Charter. A 30+ year captain and veteran and it shows. Excellent recommendations for the charter and other local suggestions. Fred and his son helped us unload from car and at stops and reload the car after the trip. Very friendly, hospitable people. Do not hesitate to support this father son duo. We will chartering with Fred again!
