   Great boat if you are a smaller group like 4-6 - we were able to get really close to the arches and rocks with ease compared to larger boats I have been on in the last - we just packed snacks and our own beers, tequila and bought ice there at the dock was all we needed. Great day just cruising around swimming and enjoying the views!! Muchas Gracias ☺️

   Captain Guero was very good. He helped us board the ship, get on when we were trying to get out of the water, and get off after we docked. One of our friends injured her hand a few days before and he helped us get tape from a neighboring boat so that she could enjoy the water as well. They have a very strict cancellation policy but we were happy that everything worked out. Susie and Monica were also very responsive (phone call and through the app) and helped us find the boat, answer any questions, and arrange our new departure time. The boat had snorkels, fins, water, and beer for us.

   Captain Jim was such a personable and kind man who gave us the most beautiful afternoon on the Barefoot Babe. He taught us out to sail the boat and so much more, wish we could have stayed on for hours. It was amazing and I would definitely rent from him again if I am ever back in Houston.

The trip took us from clear lake, Kemah Boardwalk all the way in galveston bay where we were treated to an evening of stunning sunset views, magical fireworks, and a captain who made the journey truly memorable. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, captain Jim was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and approachable, and his passion for boating and the local area shone through in every conversation. The boat itself was well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary safety gear. Captain James took the time to ensure that everyone was comfortable and briefed us on the safety procedures, putting our minds at ease. The overall boating experience on July 4th with Captain James was amazing worth every penny.
