- Minimum Age Requirement • Renters must be at least 24 years old. • Valid government-issued photo ID is required at time of rental. - Experience Level • First-time riders may be required to complete a quick safety briefing or orientation. - Passenger Limits • Max 2 riders per JetBlaster. • Combined rider weight limit: 350 lbs per unit. - Rental Duration & Pricing • Maximum rental session: 4 hours. • $125/hour for one jet ski • $100/hour each when renting both - Fuel Policy • Each Jet Ski has about a maximum 4 hours of runtime until the main fuel tank is empty. You are responsible for fuel charges. Extra fuel capacity is stored on the unit for backup. - On-Time Return Required • All jet skis must be returned no later than the scheduled end time. • Late returns impact scheduling, insurance coverage, and maintenance windows. - Late Fee Structure • A late return fee of $34.50 per 15-minute increment will be charged for each unit returned past the agreed time. • This fee is strictly enforced and deducted from the security allowance or billed directly. - Damage & Liability • A signed waiver and release of liability is required before use. - Operating Area • Jet skis must remain within Charleston Harbor and approved riding zones. • Shallow marshes often contain hidden oyster beds, submerged logs, and mudbanks. • These hazards can damage the impeller, intake grate, and hull, resulting in costly repairs. • Charleston’s marshlands are protected coastal ecosystems that serve as nurseries for fish, birds, and crustaceans. • Jet skis can rip up seagrass, disturb wildlife, and accelerate erosion. • South Carolina DNR (Department of Natural Resources) enforces no-wake and no-entry rules in certain marsh areas. • Violating these regulations may result in fines or citations — which are the renter's responsibility. - Weather & Cancellations • Unsafe conditions (high winds, storms, etc.) may result in cancellation or rescheduling with full refund. • 24-hour cancellation notice is required for full refund eligibility. - Prohibited Behavior • No reckless driving, wake jumping, beaching, or towing. • No alcohol or drug use before or during the rental. • No switching riders on the water unless approved in advance. - Return Policy • Jet skis must be returned on time and in the same condition as delivered. • Late returns will incur additional fees ($34.50 per 15-minute increment.)
