CARABO DIVING Boat : The Scuba Diving experience is the best way to find out what scuba diving is like, before you take the full scuba certification. The minimum age for Discover Scuba Diving is 10 years old but for kids from 8 or 9 years is a Bubble Maker dive possible. The program is in two parts : Theory: In about 30 to 40 minutes, the instructor will explain you the basics of the diving equipmentand the things you should and should not do, while breathing under water. Practical: In very shallow water you'll practice a few safety skills and then it's diving. Together with your instructor you will dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters and swim with all the beautiful underwater creatures. After the first dive we go back on the boat for a break and then you can decide to jump in for a second one where there will be no more skills but just diving. The Dive Resort is located in the south of the island, overlooking the crystal clear waters of Chalok Baan Kao. We offer a large range of accommodation for all budgets: backpackers, travelers, honeymooners and families… Enjoy one of the Bar Next Door cocktails or join us for a game of volley ball! The Mexican-Thai-Western Carabao Restaurant offers a large menu and shows movies and sports on a big screen every night. Beginners and experienced divers are welcome to try diving, enroll in courses or join us on our daily dive trips and night dives. Besides diving, we can organize a great range of activities such as Kayaking, Snorkeling, Rock climbing, Rock jumping, Wake boarding, Trapeze, Kite surfing, Trekking, etc… The Staff will do its best to make your stay on Koh Tao an unforgettable experience remark:These dive sites are the first to visit in the morning, we do the second dive on a different site.This schedule might change because of weather conditions Besides this schedule, we visit all the other dive sites around the Island, in the morning the deeper sites and in the afternoon the shallow ones.On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we depart around 18:00 for night dives. Scuba Refresh: Haven't been diving for a while?
