Beachcomber Cruises offer private charters on our large catamarans, perfect for weddings, school groups and private sightseeing tours. We have multiple vessels available for private charter for up to 120 guests. Private charters are the best option for weddings, functions, school groups and those with specified times. Charter cruises start from 1 hour up to a full 8 hour day and can be customized and tailored to the specifications of your choice.   A suggested itinerary would be as follows: A 2 hour ‘Round the Bays’ cruise takes you on a tour of discovery of the Queen Charlotte Sounds most beautiful bays. Crossing the main reach of the Queen Charlotte Sounds will have you arriving at Double Cove, a sheltered haven of holiday homes and our famous pet fish. After exploring the bay taking in some amazing waterfront properties and wildlife nestled up in the cove, together we feed the pet fish form the boat, Herring, Mullet and Big Blue Cod are locals at feed time along with the birds that like to join in the fun. Departing Double Cove, we will take you on a cruise of discovery via Onahau Bay and around the Grove Arm of the inner Queen Charlotte Sound. The cruising area is surrounded by years of regenerating beach forest, this two-hour return trip will allow you to see some of the best of the Marlborough sounds in a limited timeframe. Your friendly skipper will give a commentary and answer any questions along the way.   Private Water Taxis: We also operate a fleet of private water taxis which can be booked for the time of your choosing within our operating hours to transport yourself and your small group to the destination of your choice.
