I have loved being on the water since the mid-1960s when I first sailed in Newport Beach, California. All my life I've looked for occasions to get on a boat whether my preference (a sailboat) or windsurf or powerboat. I've been sailing out of Western Long Island Sound (roughly 1 hour outside Manhattan) since 2019 and have really loved the mix of the best ocean-type sailing conditions near NYC with glorious views of sunsets and the Manhattan skyline in the background. Recently I sold the boat, but have entered into a partnership with Jonah Brown who owns the boat and who will serve as Crew. We are now based out of Jersey City, right next to the Statue of Liberty. Safety is a priority for us. We offer a combination of hands-on custom-tailored sailing outings and relaxing sun-and-swim events and other possibilities.

Planning for a sailing outing is hard because of the unpredictable behavior of the weather esp in July and August. Typically I book a customer with a range of 1-or-2 days so that we have some flexibility to choose the best date weather-wise before the final choice of sailing time. I like to keep my customers well informed of the weather forecast as we approach a date. The pricing is to book the outing, which usually last for 3-4 yours depending on the weather and the customers' preferences.
