No vacation to the Scottish Highlands is complete without a visit to the beautiful and mystic Loch Ness and there is no better way to see the Loch than on a boat trip. At Highland Free Spirits we specialise in exclusive cruises on a luxurious modern motor cruiser. What we do is so much more than a tour and we invite you to join us as we spend some very special time together on the Loch that has been a huge part of our lives for many years. We can accommodate small groups of up to six guests and promise to help you create memories that will last a lifetime as we explore the stunning beauty of Loch Ness. Whether we cruise to the more popular tourist destinations such as the romantic ruins of Urquhart Castle or some of the lesser known but equally beautiful spots such as Dores Bay, you will enjoy the best of Highland hospitality from beginning to end. At Highland Free Spirits we have an in depth knowledge of Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal which we can share with you to help you plan your time with us. Alternatively, if you are tired of making decisions every minute of every day, you may prefer to leave the planning entirely to us. In either case, because we are totally flexible, once we get out on the Loch you can change your mind and we can detour to look more closely at anything that catches your eye. Who knows, you may be the next lucky person to catch a glance our most elusive local! One of the most amazing things about Loch Ness is its many moods. On a calm, summer day it glistens like a jewel in the sun whilst when the clouds circle it can become a very mysterious place. On such days we find that even some of those who were sceptical about the existence of Nessie before they arrived, begin to question if some unknown creature may live in the awesome depths of the mystical Loch. We find the Loch is at its most beautiful on the long, bright summer evenings. That is why we have extended our operating hours to provide Evening Cruises. We also appreciate that not everyone chooses to visit the Highlands at the height of summer and so we now provide Winter Cruises. These can be enjoyed from the warmth of the centrally heated saloon or, for the more adventurous, out on deck.
