To take full advantage of the varied types of sportfishing charters and several different gamefish species abundant in us, it is essential that a good sport fishing guide provide the diverse charter fishing equipment, instruction of angling methods and boats necessary. Nearshore Charter Fishing - for two anglers on sport fishing trips along the coastal waters of Panama Bay from June to December with veteran sport fishing guides angling for a variety of tropical gamefish such as grouper, snook, corvina, chicken dorado, Sierra Mackerel, jack creavalle and many types of snapper. 1 – 10 miles out around several beautiful beach spangled tropical island of Chepillo near the mouth of the Bayano River utilizing a custom 24-foot center console Super Panga powered by a 50 hp Yamaha outboard that cruises at 30 mph. Panama charter fishing trip costs or charter fishing prices include ice, bottled water, bait, soft drinks, fuel, 1st class fishing gear, (mostly Penn & Shimano rods & reels and some custom rods), use of lures & tackle etc. and all Panama sportfishing guide costs. Since 1981 our captain has been a professional sportfishing captain (250 ton), guide and owneroperator of several boats for the varied types of fishing to be found in Panama – inshore, offshore, rivers, lakes, bottom-fishing, blue-water trolling, popping, plug casting, fly fishing etc. He didn’t just recently come to Panama get in on the de novo sportfishingtourist industry that has developed in the last few years rather he has been doing it all his life. He is well versed in the best methods to catch probably all of Panama’s gamefish species and knows where the fish were yesterday, where they are today and is well prepared for tomorrows fishing charter. More significant however is his concern for his client’s goals and expectations. He genuinely wants them to accomplish what they came to Panama for.
