Originally from Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Gina has lived in Hong Kong for the past 15 years where she works as an editor and writer for numerous publications, as a sport-events coordinator, and as a coach and competitor in various water sports. Today Gina splits her time between the sleepy little Island of Lamma (HKG) and the wild little Village of Alma (NB). Amanda Reid hails from Fredericton and has a degree in Recreation Sports from the University of New Brunswick. She is also a graduate of the Saint Andrew’s Adventure Leadership program. Besides being an avid white water and sea kayaker, Amanda enjoys many other outdoor pursuits, including hiking and rock climbing. Amanda is FreshAir Adventure’s lead guide. She has an infectious laugh and tells terrible jokes. Eric Winch joined us this year from Ontario. Despite his revoltingly handsome photo, Eric is a lovely fella who has just completed his pre-service Firefighter Education and Training. When he’s not scooting around the Bay of Fundy in a kayak, he can be found on Alma’s Salmon River Estuary keeping up his form in a K1, or racing from skate park to skate park across New Brunswick. And he can walk on his hands (feel free to ask for demonstrations).
