The company is owned and operated by me, Nathaniel.  I have a desire to teach others how to sail so they can share this wonderful sport with their families and friends! I was a commercial long-liner in the Gulf Of Alaska for 23 years, and have enjoyed some years accumulated time cruising through the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, Alaska, The Everglades, and the Bahamas.

The Catalina 27 is a classic and nimble racer-cruiser with quiet 4-stroke outboard

Clean and sparse. There are no head, electronics, plumbing. Hank on sails and tiller helm. Rent for four to eight hours. Ask about fun sailing destinations.

The boat is a Pearson Resolute is a stout, comfortable and confidence inspiring fin keel, 19' sloop with a great small-boat feel.

Equipped with a quiet 4 stroke outboard motor, it's perfect for learning how to sail. "Zany" is our primary trainer. Huge cockpit easily seats 6 adults. 

We could be the highlight of your vacation! All trips are hands-on to insure maximum fun. No per-person charges, no crowds, every trip is a personalized lesson for you and yours only.

Sailing Lessons

Half day lesson:

Enjoy a half day on the water with sailing instruction from a captain. This will include learning sailing terminology and hands on sailing in and around Obstruction Pass.

A half day lesson is approximately 3 hours and can be scheduled for the morning 9:00 -12:00 or afternoon 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

Lessons are private and designed so you can brings friends and family with no extra charge. Up to 6 people can be part of the lesson.

Full day lesson:


Enjoy a full day on the water with sailing instruction from a captain. This will include learning sailing terminology and hands on sailing in and around Obstruction Pass.

A full day allows for more instruction time and to see more of the island. Lessons are approximately 6 to 7 hours and typically would start at 9:00A.M.

Lessons are private and designed so you can bring friends and family with no extra charge. Up 6 people can be part of the lesson.
