I reached out to book this boat around 10am and connected with Capt Glenn who was the owner of the boat. After easy communication, I was on the boat with my 3 children at 1pm (3 hours later!) with Capt Brian and his first mate, Serena. They were both very kind and easy to be around. We just wanted a lazy day on the water that that is exactly what they gave us. The boat was clean and everything we had hoped for. Without hesitation, I highly recommended Glenn, his boat and his staff. Thank you, Glenn, Brian and Serena for an awesome afternoon.
Captain Glenn’s enthusiasm for boating eventually led him to renovate, live on for 15 years, and charter a 65' Navy vessel docked at City Island in the Bronx. Being an avid wreck diver, the boat was initially outfitted as a dive boat, then was converted for charters taking parties to Manhattan to see the skyline, Statue of Liberty and up the Hudson River to West Point. His research interest as an academician intersects with his love of boating and the mental health benefits of being on the water. This has resulted in the creation of a seamanship program that’s freely available to Veterans who have PTSD. He is also starting programs in boating for Scouting America and to connect neurodiverse populations (e.g., autistic individuals) with the water. His hope is that your charter experience will not only be exciting but connect you to the aquatic environment in new and positive ways.
