Groups of 6 or Fewer: Request with captain and an oupv (six-pack) licensed captain, crew, and fuel will be included in the hourly boat rental rate. For 7 - 12 passengers: request without captain, then ask me to help arrange one, if you don't have your own. Coast Guard regulations require that your larger passenger count rental be a bareboat charter where you pay for your own 25 ton master license captain, first mate, and fuel separately. However, you can still have me recommended crew with the necessary credentials. If you use my recommended crew on your bareboat charter, the price will be an additional $140 per hour of your trip ($100 captain, $25 first mate, and $15 fuel) paid to the captain at the dock before departure. WHAT YOU WILL DO ON YOUR TRIP: Cruise the beautiful Hudson River on a catamaran pirate ship. See various historical and scenic sites from the river. Take selfies and group photos with amazing backgrounds, such as the Palisades cliffs, the NYC skyline, or from underneath one of the large bridges. Enjoy the company of friends and family out on the water. Optional pirate games are available on board: Treasure hunt with escape room style puzzles, murder mystery dinner style whodunnit game, poker with pirate coins and gold bars instead of chips, etc. Or just enjoy the ride and the gorgeous views. The captain will drive the boat and the first mate will assist the captain at times, but will mostly be available to see to your needs, including pointing out interesting landmarks and serving any food or drink that you bring aboard.
