The excellent gets even better. The anniversary edition of the all time classic Xc45 which was the first Xc ever launched and nominated European Yacht of the Year, built with vacuum infusion for enhanced stiffness and optimal weight distribution remains the global benchmark for comfort, ease of handling and great feeling when under sail. The classic lines, the uncompromised comfort and space, the very well protected cockpit combined with her impressive performance and ease of handling, makes her the favorite choice of cruising families and friends around the world who appreciate the difference of an agile cruising boat.

Like the rest of the Xc range she has been now taken into the ‘Next Generation’ meaning more spacious swimming platform, enlarged hull port lights, improved storage and functionality in the interior. highly optimized hull shape offers exemplary performance in a range of wind conditions, on all angles of sail.

The greater displacement allows for a heavier keel to be fitted. The large fuel and freshwater tanks and the heavy battery bank are all strategically located low and central in the yacht for excellent weight distribution. It also enables the Xc 45 to carry the perhaps most important and remarkable quality feature, the galvanized steel hul-keel girder frame. We introduced this design feature back in 1981 and is your guarantee that the keel attachment is done in the safest way possible. Lowering the centre of gravity optimizes the stability and allows for a well proportioned sail plan. The Xc 45 can make short work of any long passage.

Any boat can go well downwind with a decent sailplan and hull shape. The challenge for the Danish designers was how to achieve a big smile on the face of the skipper any time all directions of sailing are included in the route. And they did a pretty good job as you will realize from the first moments behind helm.

The Xc45 converts the Greek archipelago into a sailing arena waiting for you to explore and the Greek islands as your buoys. The feeling of the boat fully honors the traditionally recognized performance design experience, leaving the skipper always in control, relaxed and in the same time noticing on the instruments a steady velocity-made-good and miles logged per hour unimaginable, compared to any other conventional yacht out there. Seaworthiness at its best in real life conditions, no matter what those are.

Flexible Sail plan, Easy To Handle

We have engineered the sailplan of the Xc45 to be a perfect match to the sailing characteristics of the hull, offering a user-friendly and relaxing experience to the local Greek conditions. So all boats are fitted with:

Main sail, tri-radial design, with three reefs, handled by a single line reefing system 108% Jib, tri-radial design, sheeted to tracks, adjustable from cockpit.
Stay sail, with inbuilt inner forestay (anti-torque luff) , for use when the wind picks up, very easy to set up or completely get it out of the way, even on the go when windy.

Asymmetrical spinnaker for light wind broad reaching, with a sleeve for easy dropping, even single handed Optionally a Code Zero, to get you going when close reaching in light wind conditions

Uncompromised Comfort

Who said that true sailing performance comes only with plain unfriendly interiors. The design superiority hides behind the vacuum infusion technology on the hull construction, the steel frame over the keel and the right weight distribution of all the fittings which let room -weight wise- to include all the necessary premium materials to create the feeling of a five star hotel, but this time on a boat.

We have equipped the shown bed in the bow cabin with a mattress specially engineered by Tempur so that it adapts and supports your unique body perfectly.

Space Is Luxury

The 3 cabin layout, with two generously sized WCs/showers on a 45ft yacht is delivering lots of space everywhere, making living on board a truly relaxing experience. Ideally this yacht will comfortably accommodate 6 adults but if wished can sleep another one adult and one child in saloon area (check Layout & Accommodation details below ).

The well-proportioned saloon gives the yacht a spacious feel, but well positioned hand rails and good furniture placement ensure it is always safe and easy to move around no matter the heel angle. The deeper hull sections permits an upgraded interior volume and walking around in the accommodation area feels truly comfortable.

Everything in the interior is a beautifully crafted in the known all time classic way.

Five Star Outdoor Living

The standard full teak bathing platform creates a perfect area for relaxing as well as easy access from the water or dinghy. In this way you can take full advantage of the swim stops or the overnight stays on one of the endless safe anchorages of the Greek archipelago.

The cockpit space on board the Xc45 is not only designed to be functional and safe while at sea but also creates a luxurious outdoor living space. The twin wheels ensuring that the cockpit area is spacious and uncluttered.

A deck shower is fitted as standard. The high back rests not only offer protection while at sea but also create a comfortable seating area on the fitted cockpit cushions

The standard sprayhood and full width Bimini offers an excellent protection against the sun to all the family

The swimming platform, covered with real teak deck delivers endless relaxing time when anchored just a few centimeters above the sea surface. Getting out of the water is a piece of cake for all the family

Natural Light & Fresh Air

The toughened glass coachroof windows flood the interior with natural light.

In addition to the large flush skylights, each aft cabin has an open-able portlight in the cockpit which combined with the central skylights, the aft cabins have optimal ventilation, a great benefit in the Greek sunny climate.

Safe By Design

The Xc45 incorporates 40yrs design experience of the Danish boat yard. A boat you feel sure to spend time on with your friends and family, even when the weather conditions are not ideal.

The vacuum infused epoxy, full sandwich hull saves important weight and it maximizes strength and stiffness. All saved weight is used to increase the yachts’ stability enabling the crew to have a more relaxed time and to feel more safe and comfortable. The enclosed cockpit contributes in this direction as well.

The steel frame is bolted to the inside of the hull and takes all the loads from the keel and mast. This keeps the yacht stiff, strong and safe. In the same aspect the lead bulb are encapsulated in a reinforced epoxy e-glass shell.

Accommodation

3 Cabins / 2 WCs / Sleeps 6 adults + 1 adult + 1 child
The layout includes the master bow cabin with a double bed and an ensuite WC with shower, the aft starboard cabin with one more double bed and the aft port side cabin again with a double bed. The aft head has an independent entry door from the saloon area so that it can be shared from both aft cabins. So 6 adults can comfortably sleep without any compromise.

If the team is up for it, another one adult and one child can sleep in the saloon area in the long and shorter sofa.

So in total there can sleep max 8 passengers on board.

So in total there can sleep max 10 passengers on board which is also the max nominal capacity of the boat.
