From booking airfare and hotels to traveling home with your catch, here’s everything you need to know to plan your trip:BOOKING YOUR AIRFARE & HOTEL When booking your travel plans to Alaska, we recommend arriving at the Anchorage International Airport the Friday before your adventure begins at Angry Eagle. After arriving in Anchorage, explore the sights and sounds of the city or head to your hotel to relax and unwind for the evening. When scheduling your departing flight home from Anchorage, do NOT book anything earlier than 4 p.m. on the last Saturday of your trip. Inclement weather may delay your Lake Clark Air Charter flight arrival into Anchorage from Pedro Bay. ANCHORAGE HOTELS- Anchorage is home to nearly 100 hotels, so we’ve hand selected our top choices for the area’s best accommodations—including a few with discounted rates just for our guests. The Hotel Captain Cook, which is located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, offers Angry Eagle guests a special rate of $240/night. Simply tell them you’re our guest when reserving your room.
