This Is A Bare Boat Rental Only - Captain Is Not Included In The Quoted Pricing!! Budget $85/hour on weekdays and $100 per hour on weekends, plus gratuity for a captain. Holiday rates may be higher. You will hire/pay them directly. This is your most affordable option to get your private group out on the water in Chicago this summer! We have two of these boats, one is blue/tan and the other is black/white. If you have a larger group you can rent both boats at the same time for up to 24 guests! If you have a preference between these two boats please specify in your request. This Mainship Mediterranean yacht has a huge layout and should be your choice for a day on the water, whether with friends, family or work colleagues. We specialize in bachelorette, birthdays, and corporate events. Prices shown do not include a captain, fuel, or cleaning fee. • Summer 2023 rates (does not include captain, fuel or cleaning fee) • Monday - Thursday 4 hours $880 (flexible on start times) • Friday & Sunday 4 hours $1100 (choose from 10AM-2PM or 3PM-7PM) • Saturday 4 hours $1350 (choose from 10AM-2PM or 3PM-7PM) Inquire about nighttime charters CAPTAIN Rates are for boat rental only. The Captain fee is a separate transaction between renter and captain (this is a US Coast Guard Law) so you will hire the captain and pay them directly. The operator of the boat must be a US Coast Guard licensed captain. You cannot drive this boat yourself unless you are a US Coast Guard licensed captain (50 ton minimum endorsement). You are welcome to hire your own licensed captain with owner approval, or you may hire a captain from our list. I'll forward you a contact list of captains who are familiar with my boat after you complete the reservation. Captains typically charge $85 per hour plus gratuity. Additional Fees In addition to the boat rental rate and the payment you will make to the captain, there is a fuel and cleaning fee. Fuel cost is based in the itinerary that you choose/where you drive the boat. For the most popular itinerary to the playpen anchorage and back, budget $195. Cleaning fee is $50 flat rate for any of the charter slots. Coolers/ice We provide two coolers and you can buy ice at the local harbor office. You can bring your own snacks and beverages. Location We are docked at 31st street harbor which is about a 10 minute taxi from downtown. There is paid parking available nearby. Booking Rate These rates do not include captain, fuel, or cleaning fee which are priced as outlined above. Weather Policy We do not make any cancellation decisions regarding weather until the day/time of the boat rental. Should sustained rain or dangerous weather conditions prevent you from using the boat you can reschedule to a different date at no charge or receive a 75% refund on the boat rental rate. Chicago Yachting is a highly professional, safe and legal bareboat charter company in Chicago. We are celebrating 10 years of our charter operations this summer! Put the success of your special event in the hands of our experienced team. This 40 foot open plan yacht is a favorite with our clients, with a huge open seating area in the back and a large flat bow you can lay out on while at anchor. This yacht has an incredible sound system with custom lighting, full bathroom, kitchen, indoor living room and plenty of outdoor party space! This boat is limited to no more than 12 guests total (including you) in accordance with US Coast Guard bareboat charter regulations. GetMyBoat publishes our lowest available rate which is for a 4 hour trip, monday-thursday. The rates vary depending on the day of the week, from $220-337.50* per hour. These rates are for the boat only - Coast Guard regulations for bareboat charters require that the customer is responsible for paying the captain/crew, and that the customer is responsible to pay for consumables such as fuel. For our most popular itinerary to the downtown "playpen" anchorage and back you can expect fuel cost to be $195. Please inquire as to fuel charges for voyages to and from other locations. US Coast Guard regulations for bareboat charters require that the renter hire and pay the captain and any crew directly as they will serve as your employee. After you reserve the boat we will email you a list of captains familiar with operating our boats and you can hire someone from the list if you would like. You can also hire a captain that is not on the list, so long as they are approved by the owner. After booking we will also send you a bareboat charter agreement for your review and signature. The agreement must be signed for the bareboat charter to proceed. Safety is paramount. You are responsible for following all applicable laws and regulations during the term of the bareboat charter. City of Chicago Ordinance prohibits smoking in the harbors and on boats. You and a member of our team will participate in a survey/inspection of the condition of the vessel prior to and at the completion of the bareboat charter. You can provide your own food, drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and ice. Ice can be purchased at the harbor. We keep two large coolers on the boat for your use.
