The SYDNEYSIDER can accommodate up to 49 guests. Private charters of 20 to 40 guests are the most popular. • Do you have set packages for your cruises? -PRIVATE Harbour Cruise The majority of Sydney Harbour cruises are private functions. That means you will have the entire vessel to yourself. It allows you to arrange a more personal experience for your big event – day, evening or overnight getaway. -SHARED Cruise Packages There are many special events on Sydney Harbour where individuals and groups can attend and a per person fee is advertised, or book the whole vessel for your own guests. Here are some examples: - New Year’s Eve - Boxing Day — Sydney to Hobart - Australia Day - Valentine’s Day - Mother’s Day - Father’s Day - Themed events • How long do the cruises go for? The standard length of a harbour cruise is 4 hours, most guests find this is ample time for their event. If you require shorter or longer cruise duration, just call to discuss options available. Also, on the day, we are happy to extend the length of the cruise, pending availability of the vessel and crew. • Can we decorate the boat? Yes, you are welcome to decorate the SYDNEYSIDER for your event. Arrange a suitable time for us both, or board the vessel early. We prefer blu-tack (instead of tape as it damages paintwork). Or we can arrange decorations for you, just tell us what you have in mind. • Is there wheelchair access? Unfortunately, there is no easy wheelchair access onto the vessel and the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The crew can assist guests who are less mobile and those with walking aids. • Is there an age limit? Can we bring children and elderly? There is no age limit for your guests; we regularly have babies, young families and grandparents on board. We do ask that all children be fully supervised at all times by a responsible adult. • Is there a dress code? Footwear — If possible, we prefer you wear shoes without black soles as they do mark the deck. Private Cruise — Your dress code is up to you. Many guests choose to dress up in theme. Shared Events — We love guests who dress up and celebrate with us. Swimming — Those who wish to go swimming should bring appropriate swimwear, towels and sunscreen. • I’m concerned I may get sea-sick... The SYDNEYSIDER is a 50 tonne vessel with excellent stability. If you are worried we have sea sick tablets and ear plugs (1 plug in 1 ear certainly helps). We can also arrange for you to exit the vessel on request. If you are really concerned we recommend you consult a medical professional. • Can we bring our own food on board? Yes. However, you are going on a sensational harbour cruise so why not let us take care of everything for you. Our menu is plentiful and can be served cocktail style or buffet. If you want changes or additions we are sure to have something to suit your taste and budget. You may provide your own catering service. Additional wait staff hire is available on request. • Can we bring our own alcohol and drinks on board? Yes. Extra charges apply for staff. • Can we buy a pre-paid alcohol package? Yes, SYDNEYSIDER is a licenced vessel. Option 1: Pre-paid package (to be purchased by the entire group). Option 2: Run a tab where you pre-pay a set amount. Option 3: Cash bar where guests pay for their own drinks. • Can you cater for vegetarians, halal or any other menu? Yes, please let us know if there are any dietary requirements or special requests at the time of your booking and a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to your cruise.
