Very nice boat, knowledgeable and accommodating guide. Such a beautiful place and a relaxed, wonderful guide.
This was our second trip and another wonderful experience. We have two young girls (5,7) and Dan was so great with them. Answering all their questions and ensuring everyone was happy. We even got to see many dolphins up close which made the girls day! It was such a great day on the water. I highly recommend.
Amazing day on the water! Captain Dan was a great tour guide and accommodating with our children on the boat. The boat itself was immaculate and very comfortable. We saw so much and we’re able to swim for a bit in a relatively short period of time. Whether you’re a local (like us) or visiting Charleston for the first time, you will enjoy this tour on the water!
Dan is an amazing guide and has a beautiful new boat! This was our first tour with Dan and we will be booking again the next time we are in town without a doubt. He knew so much about Charleston, took us by several historic sites including the Battery, the Ravenel Bridge up close and many more! We saw so many things on our tour and the ride was comfortable and luxurious. The boat was stunning and super clean. It was only my husband and I on the tour which was nice and private but if your group has a few more the boat can accommodate comfortably. It was 27 feet long and has comfortable seating in the bow and in the rear of the boat as well. We left out of Shem creek marina and it was nice to get a full tour of the area. Dan was a pleasure and you could tell he knew his way around. Another really important note, Dan was a very safe captain. Overall a perfect day trip!! We left at 11AM and the weather was also perfect during that time. Don’t hesitate to commit. Book your trip with Dan as soon as you can because his tours fill up and you won’t want to miss out! This was so much fun!!
Dan provided a very nice afternoon on the water taking us to points of interest around the bay. Provided historical context to match. Best of all, unlike a big tour boat Dan would honor requests to provide further trip customization right on the spot. Would certainly use his services on future trips back to the Charleston area.
Our captain has been entertaining passengers around the scenic and historic Charleston waterways for over 18 years. Port of call Shem Creek Marina.
