Have you ever dreamed of feeling the wind in your hair as you sail across the water, but you're not sure where to start? Our Discover Sailing trips are the perfect opportunity to try sailing and see if it's the right activity for you!

Our Discover Sailing Trips are designed for newcomers who want to experience the thrill of sailing for the first time. During the two-hour sail, you'll learn the basics of sailing from our experienced skippers, who will guide you through every step of the way. Our skippers are knowledgeable and passionate about sailing, and they're eager to share their skills and expertise with you. All are both USCG licensed Captains and US SAILING certified instructors.

No experience is necessary, and you don't need to bring any equipment. We provide everything you need for a safe and enjoyable voyage, including top-of-the-line sailboats and safety gear.

During your Discover Sailing Trip, you'll have the chance to take the helm and sail on your own, under the watchful eye of our skilled skippers. You'll experience the thrill of gliding across the water, powered only by the wind, and you'll be amazed by the beauty of Lake Washington.

This is a non-private group sail and runs only at 5pm on Tuesdays with a maximum of 6 participants.

Catalina Capri Discover Sailing in Kirkland!

Plan a motivational team sailing event!

Sailing is a unique experience that brings people together and provides a memorable bonding experience.

Our team events can accommodate groups of up to 28 people. Each group of 4 will be guided by one of our instructors aboard one of our 22′ boats. We can run up to 7 boats concurrently.

Participants will have the opportunity to steer the boat, pull some ropes and be actively involved under the supervision of a USCG Licensed Captain and US SAILING Certified Instructor.

We provide life jackets for all participants.

Events run from either Carillon Point Marina or Homeport Marina in downtown Kirkland.

There are numerous eateries for brown bag lunches and dinner/drinks following the activity. Participants can bring food and drinks on the boats if they wish.
