This is southwest Alaska, famous for the rivers and streams that are home to huge rainbow trout, arctic char, grayling and many other species of freshwater game fish that surround our lodge.  Bristol Bay is also home to the largest natural salmon migration in the world. Each year millions of sockeye salmon join strong runs of four other Pacific Ocean salmon species in their incredible return to spawning rivers and streams. This means our guests catch unbelievable numbers of 8-12 lb. Sockeye salmon, huge silver salmon on the fly and giant king salmon tipping the scale at up to 50 lbs.  Our lodge can comfortably handle up to twelve guests. For a more personal and relaxing experience, we limit our occupancy to eight guests per week. For groups of six or more, we can arrange exclusive use of the lodge depending on the time period and package selected. Whether you are travelling as a family, corporate group, alone or with friends, ask us for details about custom built trips to suit your travel needs. King Salmon Fishing: Guests of Bristol Bay Sportfishing fish for King salmon - Alaska's largest salmon species - on prime rivers in Southwest Alaska. We maintain our own King salmon camp on the Nushagak River. Each year hundreds of thousands of mighty Kings migrate right past our island on their way upriver. We Provide boats, guides, and all necessary equipment. The tent accommodations are very comfortable for guests who want to fish late and go to bed happily tired from catching fish. One week guided float trips with 2 nights at lodge: Float trips are a great way to reach remote waters and maximize fishing time. The rivers we float are some of the best in Alaska for fishing and rafting. One of our most popular angling experiences offers a one week guided float on two different rivers, with two nights in the comfort of the lodge. This gives you the luxury of a hot shower, an exquisite meal and a good nights rest at the start and end of your trip.

The best fishing trip of your life… we has been the ultimate fishing destination for discriminating fisherman for many years. Professional fly fisherman, celebrities, U.S. senators, congressmen and even the President of the United States have all stayed at Bristol Bay Sport Fishing Lodge. We are a family operated lodge, hosted by three generations of Jacques. Jerry’s family has a long history in Alaska beginning with his grandfather who left the Yukon in 1941 to work near Iliamna Bay. Jerry was introduced to Lake Iliamna at a young age by his Grandfather and started guiding in the Bristol Bay and Iliamna area in 1978. Jerry has made a full time living guiding and flying in Alaska since 1978 with the exception of serving as a pilot in Afghanistan for three tours of duty. With 30 years of Alaska bush flying experience ( 14,000+ hours) and holding Alaska Master Guide License #110 he is uniquely qualified to be your host for the best fishing and bear viewing the last frontier has to offer. Laura was raised on the east coast with a father that loved fishing and introduced both her and her brother to fishing at a young age. She has been an avid whitewater rafter and outdoor enthusiast for over 20 years. Laura and her husband Jerry met at Fishing lodge where she caught the fly fishing bug. She now out-fishes her husband Jerry consistently. Laura graduated from Temple University School of Law and has practiced law on a part time basis since 1989.
