Club de Voile de Soustons Marensin The sailing club is located in Soustons Marensin Aquitaine in south of the Landes, the lake of Soustons. Covering 380 hectares, the lake is bordered on its northern shore / West by a Natura 2000 area. The dinghy is an interesting medium to acquire the fundamentals of navigation alone or crew. The simplicity of the optimist allows children to develop their motor skills, but also to discover the aquatic environment. The relatively low speed of the support and ease to tack and jibe allow children to be confident rapidly, making it the preferred medium for exploring the navigation and wind. Once acquired the basics of navigation, passage on Open Bic, modern dinghy, will acquire balance sensations that add to the pleasures of the practice. The physical qualities will therefore also be solicited. Age 7 to 12 years. Level Beginner to proficiency: Levels 1-2 of the FFV.
