Enjoy Cruz Bay, St. John by boat! Go fishing in Cruz Bay, St. John on a Center Console for $600 USD per day. Boat comes with rods, reels, flies (all the necessary tackle), bottled water, soft drinks, ice, fuel, etc. The boat is a 2004 Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman 20, powered by a Yamaha 150 hp outboard. It can comfortably accommodate up to three passengers (plus the captain). It is equipped with a large casting platform at the bow, lockers for your gear, and plenty of rod holders. It also has a VHF radio, GPS and fish finder. In my opinion, it is the perfect boat for fly fishing and inshore fishing in these waters. The deep-V hull can handle the chop that we encounter on most days, yet the boat only draws 12 inches, so we can get into some pretty shallow spots. You are welcome to bring your own fly rod(s), or you can use one of ours. We have top-quality rods by Sage, Orvis and TFO. We have fly reels by Tibor, Hatch, Sage, Fin-Nor and Orvis Prices: - $400 USD for half day (4 hours) - $600 USD/day If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Request to Book” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer.
I have been fly fishing on St. John and in the Virgin Islands for over 20 years, and for the past 14 years as a professional captain and guide. I have the experience to know where the fish are and what they’ll be biting.I have guided hundreds of clients on St. John and I am passionate about fishing. I have been featured in several fishing magazines, such as “Fly Fish America” and “Eastern Fly Fishing.” My fishing pursuits have also been filmed for the Outdoor Life Network’s “Destination Outdoors.”
Dustin was our guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable and experienced.
Was a great trip even though conditions weren’t ideal. Dustin made the best of it and wouldn’t give up. Very knowledgeable about fishing and patient with putting us on the fish. Caught a Blue Runner which ended up being eaten at the boat by a big Barracuda!
Had a fantastic time. Caught lots of fish--all different kinds. Looking forward to this year's trip!
