Out of respect for our fishery, we use only barb-less hooks fishing Long Island Bahamas. This practice ensures the cleanest, fastest release of a healthy fish. By filing the barbs off their hooks or crimping them with pliers before they arrive, our clients spend more time fishing & leave more fish for others to catch. What you need to pack for your fishing boat trip: RODS AND REELS *8 – 9 weight rods for Bonefishing * 10 weight rods for Permit or Barracuda Fishing * Reels that will hold about 150-200 yards of backing and floating line . My skills are stalking bonefish on the flats of Deadman's Cay , and knows where to find the exclusive "Grey Ghosts"(bonefish) . I can teach beginners how to fly cast and have a lot of patience when it comes to guiding.
