Escape Buenos Aires for a fully private day on the Tigre Delta aboard Taian, a 42-foot motor yacht, just your group, up to 8 guests, with your own English-speaking captain and host. We depart around midday from a marina in San Fernando/Tigre (45 minutes from downtown Buenos Aires) and cruise hidden channels past stilt houses and island life. We drop anchor in a quiet arm of the river where you can swim, drift on the floats, sunbathe on deck or simply relax. Add the optional asado: a full Argentine barbecue grilled on board by your captain (USD 50 pp). We cruise back as the sun sets over the Delta. The yacht features high-speed Starlink WIFI, heating, a full galley, an ice maker, saloon and 2 cabins. Captain, fuel, water and ice included, bring your own wine or drinks, we'll keep them cold (or we can provide at cost). Shorter sunset cruises (3–5 hours) also available. 'Sobremesa' is the Argentine art of lingering at the table after a great meal, this is that, on the water.

Hi, I’m Luis, founder of Sobremesa Yacht. I’ve spent my life around boats through my family’s yacht-building business in Buenos Aires, and the Tigre Delta has always been one of my favorite places. I host private experiences aboard a 42-foot motor yacht, taking guests through hidden channels and peaceful anchorages that most visitors to Buenos Aires never get to see. My goal is to create a relaxed, personal day on the water, whether you want to swim, enjoy drinks and an Argentine barbecue, celebrate a special occasion, or simply spend time with friends and family. I speak English and Spanish and personally coordinate every booking. Comfort, safety, good hospitality, and giving guests an authentic local experience are my priorities. I’d love to welcome you aboard and show you the best of the Delta.

Additional Terms & Information

Weather policy: If the trip cannot go out due to weather, safety conditions, or a Coast Guard (Prefectura) restriction, we reschedule at no cost for a date that works for your group. If rescheduling is not possible, you receive a full refund. The final decision to sail always rests with the captain, for safety reasons. Punctuality: Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals reduce time on the water, as return time depends on daylight and marina schedules. Boat rules: You're welcome to bring your own drinks (we provide ice, an ice maker and cold storage) — we provide glasses, both glass and plastic. No smoking inside the cabin, outside is ok. Swimming only at the anchorage designated by the captain, never while the engines are running. Children must wear life jackets. Capacity: Maximum 8 guests for comfort. Groups of 9–10 may be possible on request — please message us before booking. Optional asado: The onboard Argentine barbecue (USD 50 pp) must be confirmed at least 48 hours before departure so we can shop fresh. Damages: Guests are responsible for damage caused by negligence or misuse.
