We offer a varied and interesting journey, which winds through wetland and estuarine waters and includes some swift water. The trip is around six km and should take around 1 – 1.5 hours. It is essential to contact us to book your kayak hire because the river is tidal. Journey times change daily because we operate the kayak hire 3-4 hours on each side of high tide. If it is raining in Drury on the day you have booked we will always ring you and let you decide if you still wish to come, however, we do reserve the right to cancel if we feel the conditions will compromise your safety. We are outdoor enthusiasts and have lived on the banks of the Manukau for almost 25 years, and are convinced of the untapped potential of these waters.
