Policies and Procedures: Catering Options: While we don't provide catering services, guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, including alcohol. Alternatively, we can recommend third-party vendors. Please include any catering requests while booking, and we'll assist in arranging options. Charter Logistics: Parking: Ample parking is available at 31st Street Harbor. Further details and parking options are accessible via our website. Vessel Capacity: Each vessel can accommodate up to 12 passengers, excluding the captain and crew, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience. Chicago River Travel: Traveling on the Chicago River is possible, but please be aware of potential delays at the Chicago Locks, especially during peak traffic periods. Kindly inform us in advance about your river travel plans. Entertainment: Guests can enjoy their own music using the high-quality Bluetooth sound systems installed on all our boats. Captain and Crew: Captain Selection: After making a reservation, a list of approved Captains familiar with our vessels will be provided. Please note, Captains are independent contractors, not our employees. Captain Fees and Gratuities: Captains typically charge between $100-$150 per hour before gratuity. It's customary to leave a gratuity of 20% of the total charter price for the hired captain or crew. All payment details will be listed on the receipt. Charter Policies: Cancellation Policy: Please review our comprehensive cancellation policy for details on reservation changes, cancellations, rescheduling, and potential refunds due to weather-related cancellations. Arrival and Delays: Guests are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled charter time. Please notify us in case of any delays exceeding 30 minutes after the charter's start time. What a fantastic experience! I rented Alex's boat yesterday and had an absolute blast with my group of 12 friends. From the moment we arrived, Alex was super friendly and welcoming. He showed us around the boat and made sure we felt comfortable and at ease. The boat itself was immaculate - clean, well-maintained, and organized to perfection. Alex had thought of everything to ensure our day on the water was stress-free and enjoyable. His assistant was also super helpful in getting us settled and answering any questions we had. Alex himself was an absolute pleasure to be around. He was knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for things to do and see. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he really made us feel like we were part of his own little crew. We had an amazing time cruising around the water, taking in the sights, and enjoying each other's company. The boat handled beautifully, and we were able to fit all 12 of us comfortably. Overall, I would highly recommend renting from Alex. His attention to detail, warm hospitality, and love for boating make for a truly unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back and do it again!

Cancellation Policy - Company Cancellation: In the event that our company cancels the charter due to adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, your nonrefundable deposit will be retained. We will work with you to schedule the next available charter slot that suits your convenience. - Customer Cancellation: If you, the customer, decide to cancel the charter, the charter fee will be retained by our company. - Rescheduling Policy: If you wish to reschedule, requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled charter. - Captain's Right to Cancel: The Captain reserves the right to cancel a charter due to weather, failure to follow safety instructions, or inappropriate conduct aboard the vessel. The cancellation may occur at any time before or during the charter. In the event of a weather-related cancellation during a charter, a refund of 10% of the charter cost will be provided. Cancellation Process: Customers can cancel by contacting us. Charter Arrival and Delay Policy: Customers are required to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled charter time. If the charter departs early, the full allocated time will still be provided. Any delay beyond 30 minutes after the charter's start time, without prior notice, will result in the loss of the full charter duration. Please inform us of any delays to the harbor. If the Captain and crew are delayed, you will be promptly notified. Any time lost due to OUR delay will be compensated.
