These waters hold game fish like Snook, Black Drum, Redfish, Ladyfish, Tripletail, Pompano, Blacktip Shark, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, and more with any luck. On these trips, you can expect to fish using light tackle. Capt. Josh also offers fly fishing. You’ll find yourself aboard a 16’ Dolphin flats boat with room for 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Depending on the season and species targeted, you will be able to keep some legal fish, but mostly you will engage in catch-and-release. Catch cleaning is available, for the species you do keep, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly! Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is also allowed.
