We have implemented a standard gratuity of 10% on groups over 6 people. This is really no different than when you go out to the restaurant and have a large group. Our captains are subcontractors we pay them an hourly wage, but tips are very standard in boating. Our captains accept jobs from our business and act as self-contractors they are not an employee of our boat business and act on their own. It is standard in the Yachting and charter business to tip your captain/crew at least 10%. So the week of your reservation your captain will reach out to you asking everyone in your group to sign a waiver before charter. He will then send you a QR code to pay the 10% gratuity up front before the charter. Again, this is very standard in Yachting/Charter and limousines party bus companies. If at the end of your trip you want to tip your captain and crew more please feel free to, additional tip is NOT required but industry standard is up to 20%. In the past we have relied on groups to tip any amount that they felt like they wanted to, but unfortunately many people have drinks and at the end of the day forget to take care of the crew, so this is a great way to take care of everything in advance. Our captains and crew work hard to keep you safe and insure a fun unforgettable experience. We are recommending our transportation service for all boats reserved in GetMyBoat, since 2024. We offer a discounted rate of the boat for using our transportation. One of the major benefits of using our transportation is our boat, captains and drivers communicate directly. Often clients that use other forms of transportation tend to show up late for boat reservations get lost or left at the dock by other transportation companies. We have very competitive packages for Transportation round trip for a smaller groups and groups over 15. When using our transportation we offer complementary loaner ice chest, bring your own food ice and drink put an ice chest on the bus you can take the ice chest to the boat and then at the end of your event, you can leave the ice chest on the bus or a van and we will clean it out. The Transportation will be charged after Boat is confirmed through this platform. We also offer 3 and 4 packages including airport, transfer Transportation to all of your events as well as to our event for flat fees. We require itinerary in advance. No changes once submitted. This will cover all your airport transfers, activities, nights out and based on availability we can sometimes do Party Bus upgrades. There is a standard 20% gratuity required when using our 3 and 4 day transportation. our contact information will be provided to set up transportation, once your boat is confirmed.
