Large Group Party Barge Rentals with Transportation to the Lake!

We are a seasonal operation and book months and years in advance so if someone cancels it prevents us from filling a spot that we would have definitely booked. We have implemented a standard gratuity of 10% on groups over 6 people. This is really no different than when you go out to the restaurant and have a large group. Our captains are subcontractors we pay them an hourly wage, but tips are very standard in boating. Our captains accept jobs from our business and act as self-contractors they are not an employee of our boat business and act on their own. It is standard in the Yachting and charter business to tip your captain/crew at least 10%. So the week of your reservation your captain will reach out to you asking everyone in your group to sign a waiver before charter. He will then send you a QR code to pay the 10% gratuity up front before the charter. Again, this is very standard in Yachting/Charter and limousines party bus companies. If at the end of your trip you want to tip your captain and crew more please feel free to, additional tip is NOT required but industry standard is up to 20%. In the past we have relied on groups to tip any amount that they felt like they wanted to, but unfortunately many people have drinks and at the end of the day forget to take care of the crew, so this is a great way to take care of everything in advance.
