Aristocat is a cruiser-style vessel sleeping 7 across three cabins, with dual helms - a different feel from a conventional houseboat, with the same comfort. No boat license needed - a full car licence and a nominated driver aged 18 or over is all it takes. Your skipper runs a briefing of about an hour covering the vessel and the navigation rules before you leave the marina, then the Gold Coast Broadwater, the Coomera River and the southern Moreton Bay islands are yours to explore at your own pace. What's Included: - Pre-departure briefing and handover - Bedding and bath towels for the full crew - Row dinghy - Daily support line with after-hours emergency assistance Extras: - Fuel, charged on engine running time: $40/hr - Secure marina parking $10 per night - Outboard motor for the dinghy $50 per night - Refundable security bond $2,000, held as a pre-authorization on a card Good to know: Minimum stay 3 nights; 4 nights on gazetted long weekends and 6-7 nights over Christmas and New Year. Free cancellation up to 30 days before your trip.
Minimum stay: 3 nights. 4 nights on Gazetted long weekends; 6-7 nights over Christmas and New Year. Who can drive: No boat license needed - a full car license and a nominated driver aged 18 or over. Blood alcohol must stay under 0.05. Briefing and Check In: Briefings run between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM and take about an hour. We contact you three days before arrival to confirm your time. Missing your briefing means cancellation without refund. Departure day: be ready to dock at 8:30 AM and vacate by 9:30 AM. Cancellation: 30 or more days before your charter (90 days in peak season): a $100 fee applies and the remaining deposit is refunded. Within 30 days (90 days in peak season): no refund unless we secure a replacement booking. Cancellation requests must be made by email. Weather: No refunds for rain or wind. If conditions are dangerous, boat movement may be restricted and no refund applies. If conditions are dangerous within 24 hours of departure you receive a credit for a future non-peak booking within 12 months. On the water: No operation after dark. Anchor at least three boat lengths from shore; no beaching. Stay within the designated cruising grounds and avoid the ocean, bridges and marinas. The captain or safety officer must stay reachable by phone. Extras and charges: Fuel is charged on engine running time: $40/hr. Secure marina parking is $10 per night. An outboard motor for the dinghy is $50 per night; a row dinghy is included. Security Bond: $2,000, lodged by c.card at departure or by advance deposit, and returned within one business day after inspection if there is no damage. No pets.
