1. Sea Kayak Hire in Kirkhill

Sea Kayak Hire in Kirkhill

Our kayaks are a mix of P&H; Scorpios (17ft - sea kayak) and Venture Easkies (15ft & 17ft touring kayaks). We also have a couple of tandem kayaks. The hire cost includes: paddles, spraydecks, buoyancy aids, helmets [if required] and dry pouches equivalent to around 60 litres in capacity. In addition we offer a comprehensive outfitting service. We are the largest canoe and kayak hire operator in Scotland offering quality boats and equipment for hire, in paddling locations across the country. We can provide equipment for leisure use as well as for fund-raising or adventure events. We also offer a flexible shuttle service to help you get to where you want to be without the hassle of organising it all yourself. Hire starts at £35 per solo kayak per day, £26 for 2 days or more and a free day for 5 days or more. Tandem craft start at £45 per day and £36 for 2 days or more. You may or may not have your own means of transporting boats and equipment to your chosen paddling location. We can help out. You can pick up the canoes or kayaks from our equipment depot and office, a few miles West of Inverness using your own vehicle and roof rack. Generally speaking you'll only get 1 canoe on a fitted car roof rack safely. You may manage to get 2 sea kayaks on. We have an inflatable roof rack available to hire (£10) if you don't have your own roof bars, Our handi-racks are only suitable for 1 boat at a time and you need to have a 4-door car in order to fit it, using straps through your windows. Please note: we do not hire out our canoe trailers. If you have something in mind but have some questions about the venue, the route, logistics, equipment or anything else, don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll be happy to help. Inquire for more information.

Canoe Hire Scotland is based in the Highlands of Scotland offering Canadian canoe, sea and touring kayak hire with expedition outfitting.  We also offer a flexible customer shuttle service to and from locations across the country. We are best value for hire bookings on the Great Glen Canoe Trail and the River Spey in particular, but are regulars in the West Highlands at the likes of Glen Affric and Loch Mullardoch, further north at Loch Maree or the wild Inverpolly, and will offer shuttles to the Rivers Dee, Tay on occasion and many other locations. We also offer support for canoe based events where large numbers of canoes are required, for example, fund-raisers or adventure races. For a friendly one-stop-service give us a call.
