Rates: • A halibut combo trip: $385 per seat +7.85 Homer, AK sales tax • Groups of 3 or more: $365 per seat +7.85 Homer, AK sales tax What You Can Expect: Combo trips are usually 8-9 hrs from dock to dock. We will meet at the boat 6:45 am for an introduction/trip briefing and be back in the Homer Harbor at approximately 3pm-4pm. Possible Species - Halibut - Salmon - Rockfish Our combo trips are the most popular choice. We will be fishing halibut plus additional species, usually king salmon or silver salmon. King salmon can be targeted all season. Towards August we will be catching king salmon, silver salmon and pink salmon. Weather and sea conditions play a role for our 2nd targeted species, but halibut will almost always on the table! What To Expect Onboard: The Dream Catcher II is a 29 foot custom designed six-pack charter boat, made for charter fishing in Alaska. Because we only fish 6 anglers at a time my deckhand and I are able to offer a more personalized fishing experience. We have the highest standard in exercising mandatory coast guard safety requirements for the boat and the crew. With a heated cabin, large fishing deck and private restroom, the Dream Catcher II is a very convenient boat for your fishing charter adventure! Heavens Gate Charters is a premier fishing charter company from Homer, Alaska. Your full day charter includes a captain, deckhand, all fishing gear, bait, and all equipment needed for a safe and fun fishing adventure! All you need to bring with you is an Alaska fishing license, a king salmon stamp, and anything you would like to eat or drink throughout the day. The extensive knowledge or our crew will consider weather, tides, fishing reports customer experience level and expectations to provide the best fishing experience Alaska has to offer! We love to cater to younger children, who will eventually be the future captains of the world! Our price includes all Homer, Alaska sales tax and any credit card fees that may incur. Our boat holds a maximum of 6 anglers plus our captain and first mate. You keep the fish you catch! We do not "pool" our fish at the end of the day. Our crew will fillet any fish that is kept and give you your clean fillets in heavy duty compactor bags. It is highly recommended to have a professional vacuum pack, seal, and freeze your catch. There is nothing better that fresh caught Alaska halibut or Alaska King Salmon! Our boat has individual seating for 6, plenty of room for coolers, sleeping bags, tents, etc. (just kidding :) The Dream Catcher II also has an enclosed heated cabin a large fishing deck and a private lavatory for your convenience.
