Here’s a summary of the FAQ / terms & policies from Tide Up Boat Rentals:   What to know before booking - Mandatory tip A 20% tip for your captain is required. You can pay via Venmo or cash; if you fail to do so, the tip will be charged to the card on file.  $70 tip due for Sunset Cruise - Parking & rideshare Parking is available at their standard docks, but they strongly recommend using rideshare. Travis County Parks require a ~$5 per person park entrance fee (paid in cash).   - Alternate pickup locations They prefer customers board at the listed standard locations, but may accommodate custom pickups case-by-case with advance notice and a $50 travel fee.   Standard docks are: - - Lake Austin: Loop 360 boat ramp, 5019 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746   - Bad weather / cancellations - - If weather prevents launching, they’ll issue full credit toward a future booking.   - Weekday cancellations (Mon–Thu): Less than 48 hours’ notice = lose full rental amount.   - Weekend cancellations: Must cancel ≥ 3 days ahead (else $200 minimum fee). Less than 48 hours before = liable for full amount.   - Holiday cancellations: Always at least $200 fee; less than 48-hour notice = full rental charge.   - Maximum refund is capped at $250, and refunds are at management’s discretion.   - Damages You (and your party) are responsible for any damage to the boat.   - Night boating They do not operate after dark: boats are returned before nightfall.   - Towing / watersports Currently, they do not equip their boats to tow tubes, wakeboards, or skis. They may add this in the future.   - Running late - - Private rentals: They may adjust timing if schedule allows; there is a $25 charge for every half hour late.   - Pets Pets or animals are not allowed on the boats.   - Boarding locations (again) As noted, Lake Austin boarding is at the Loop 360 ramp - Customer concerns/refunds Concerns must be emailed to us.
