This stunning destination of Colombia is better experienced by boat. Bring the entire family or your group of friends (up to 12 people) on this full day excursion to swim, snorkel, and sail at the nationally-renowned Parque Tayrona or Playa Inca Inca. We will escort you into the marina at 9am. We will disembark after situating you with the boat and discussing our safety precautions. Sit back and enjoy the picturesque vistas of the Caribbean coast as we sail to our destination. We will then anchor and you will have time to swim, snorkel, or scuba dive. (Please note, snorkeling and the use of the subwing is included in the price. If you wish to scuba dive, it is an extra $50USD per person). Our team is happy to provide information about the local areas and marine biology you may encounter in the Ocean and along the coasts. We will provide ice, water, coca cola, fruit, and lunch. Lunch usually consists of fresh caught fish, rice, and patacones. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions 24 hours in advance. You are also welcome to bring adult beverages or food/snacks of your choice. After, we will head back to Santa Marta Marina. Please consider bringing a hat, a towel, swimsuit, sunblock, and easy to remove shoes or sandals. Please note, our ability to open sails is dependent on wind and waves. There is a bathroom in the cabin of the boat you are welcome to use. Please bear in mind that this is a sailing experience and that you might experience nausea or seasickness. Rest assured, we operate under strict safety considerations, but consider yourself first as sailing can be fearsome and challenging. If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Request to Book” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer.

Depending on the weather conditions (wind and waves) and the guests (babies, kids, elders) the captain will decide to open sails or motor. All safety measures are in place and we aim this experience to be enjoyed and feel safe for everyone. Please bear in mind that this is a sailing experience and that you might feel dizzy with the movement of the sailboat or nervous about sailing during the night, the strong winds or rainy afternoons. Be confident that we operate under strict safety considerations, but think first about yourself as sailing can be fear challenging. In case of restrictions to our destination due to weather conditions given by the maritime authority (Dimar) and/or closure of the Tayrona park we can only go to the authorized destinations. We ONLY make a refund if navigation is completely restricted. DURING NAVIGATION THE USE OF THE LIFEVEST IS MANDATORY AND THE SAFETY MEASURES MUST BE FOLLOWED. If you are looking for a more professional sailing experience do not hesitate to reach out and we can arrange a private tour. By booking this experience you are supporting the Tayrona Foundation ocean and beach clean-up activities.
