🌦️ Weather Cancellations Safety is always the priority. If unsafe conditions arise—such as lightning, strong winds, or poor visibility—we’ll work with you to reschedule or refund your booking. Light rain or cloudy skies aren’t grounds for cancellation. ⏰ Late Arrivals & No-Shows Your rental clock starts at the scheduled time, not arrival. Late arrivals shorten your trip. No-shows will forfeit the full booking without refund. 🛟 Safety Considerations - All guests must follow safe boating practices and any posted rules - Children must wear proper life vests—please bring your own, as we do not provide child sizes - If no one in your party has a valid boating license, a captain is required for an added fee - Drivers must present a WA State Boater Safety Card or equivalent boating license at pickup 📋 Boat Rules - Max 8 guests per trip - Main renter must show valid photo ID - No smoking, vaping, pets, red wine, or staining beverages - No towing or tying up to other boats - Guests often ask about water sports—this pontoon has a 50hp motor, which isn’t suitable for tubing or wakeboarding. We do not provide gear for those activities - Return the boat clean, or a cleaning fee will apply - Bring your own ice for the cooler and take your trash with you - Late returns will incur a fee 💸 Fees & Damage - Lost anchor incurs a flat $250 charge - Physical damage to the vessel will result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit ⚠️ Liability Release By booking and operating this vessel, the renter and guests acknowledge and accept that boating carries inherent risks. The renter releases GetMyBoat, BoatSetter, H2OHaven LLC, Anne, the captain, and all affiliated parties from liability in the event of injury, property damage, or death. 📜 Legal Terms - Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless all parties involved against claims arising from the rental - Renter accepts financial responsibility for any damages during their booking - The rental is governed by Washington State law and disputes will be resolved in King County - If any part of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the rest remains valid - This boat may not be used for illegal activity, commercial purposes, or operated by unauthorized individuals - Neither party is liable for cancellations caused by events beyond control (e.g. natural disasters, government actions) 📲 Final Disclosures Booking details, reminders, and any required confirmations will be sent via text after reservation is accepted.
