Recommended trip length is 5 days. Depart from Fort Smith, Northwest Territories. Canoe Leland Lakes to the Slave River. Excellent fishing is available for Lake Trout Northern Pike and Walleye. Wildlife viewing opportunities include Black Bear, Moose, Wolf, Lynx, Beaver and Bald Eagles. Take a side trip in Wood Buffalo National Park.
