MV Pawara is one of the most highly-regarded Similan diving liveaboards. She is a 35m x 7m cruise ship, specifically designed for luxury diving trips, be they scheduled liveaboard or private charter. The staff and crew who run Pawara are one of the most established and professional diving centres in the region and have been in operation for nearly twenty years. Due to her reputation, the scheduled liveaboard diving trips are often fully booked but there is always space for charters a few times each season. This is due to customers reserving her with plenty of advance notice. Those lucky enough to charter Pawara will have a choice of four different comfort levels for guests. Making up a total of 11 twin-share cabins, there is a selection of budget, standard, deluxe and master, all of which have air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms. Refitted in 2012, she is in excellent condition and ready to sail. Sailing out at sea for several days requires thorough preparation. There are no convenience stores, dairies or vegetable gardens out there. The staff and crew always make sure that everything is covered, plus extras for emergencies. Vegetarian guests are catered for, as are children. With guests from all over the world, they do an excellent job of making sure that everyone is taken care of.
