Buoy Rental Insurance Required Per Daily Rental Operation Requirements Operator must be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid government-issued photo ID. Operator must have prior boating experience. No first-time boat operators are permitted. Owner reserves the right to verify boating experience before departure. Owner’s Right To Refuse Or Terminate Rental Owner reserves the right to refuse rental before departure if the operator lacks sufficient boating experience, appears impaired, behaves recklessly, provides false information, or otherwise presents a safety concern. If unsafe operation occurs during the rental, Owner may terminate the rental immediately without refund, retain the ignition keys, and transport the renter and passengers to the Bridgewater Channel for the remainder of the reserved rental period. Prohibited Use No operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No unauthorized drivers. No exceeding passenger limits. No reckless operation. No illegal activity. No unauthorized towing of tubes, skiers, wakeboards, inflatables, or other watercraft. Damage And Liability Renter accepts full responsibility for any damage to the vessel, passengers, other vessels, docks, or property during the rental period and agrees to pay all repair or replacement costs. Delivery And Timing Renter must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. Late arrivals may result in reduced rental time. If the Owner must leave and return due to renter delay, a $50 return fee may be charged. Cancellation Policy 72+ hours’ notice = full refund. Less than 72 hours = no refund. No-shows are non-refundable. Weather Policy Unsafe weather conditions may result in cancellation or rescheduling at the Owner’s discretion. Weather-related shortened trips may be prorated at the Owner’s discretion. Assumption Of Risk Renter understands boating involves inherent risks and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the operation and use of the vessel. Hold Harmless Agreement Renter agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold, its owners, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from the use of the vessel during the rental period. Pre-Rental Vessel Inspection Renter agrees to inspect the vessel with the Owner before departure and acknowledges that the vessel is being accepted in good operating condition unless otherwise noted on the inspection checklist. Any existing damage will be documented before departure.
