This unique tractor launch arrangement puts us into excellent fishing areas, usually within an hour of leaving the office, giving us a better opportunity to fish the entire tide cycle. Our departure times differ each day according to this cycle and we’re able to put our clients on fish for the duration of the charter. The limit for halibut remains at 2 fish for each client and by using circle hooks we are able to release smaller fish unharmed in search for the bigger ones. Halibut range in size from 15 pounds to over 200 pounds and yield about 50 percent of their body weight in boneless fillets.
