OwnerCaptain Middleton is a Charleston native who grew up boating, fishing, and exploring the creeks, rivers, and waterways of the Lowcountry. Some of his favorite memories were made on these waters, and his lifelong passion for being on the water eventually inspired him to start Saltwater Disciple. With years of local knowledge and experience, Captain Middleton enjoys showing guests a side of Charleston that is best experienced from the water. His laid-back and personable approach makes guests feel right at home, whether they’re seasoned boaters or experiencing the Lowcountry waterways for the first time. As a family-owned business, Saltwater Disciple is about more than simply taking guests from place to place. Captain Middleton takes the time to get to know each group and tailor the experience around what they want to see and do.
