Rental Terms - Experience Required: Renters must have prior sailing experience and demonstrate basic competence in handling a sailboat of this size. A sailing resume may be requested. - Weather Policy: Safety comes first. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, the owner reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the rental. Weather-related cancellations may be refunded or credited at the owner’s discretion. - Late or No-Show Policy: Late arrivals may result in reduced rental time. No-shows are non-refundable. - Safety Rules: All passengers must follow safety instructions. Life jackets are provided and must be worn by children and non-swimmers at all times while underway. - Boat Rules: No smoking aboard. No pets unless approved in advance. Shoes with non-marking soles only. - Overnight Use: Overnight stays are permitted for up to four (4) guests. No additional overnight guests without prior approval. - Damage & Responsibility: Renters are responsible for any damage to the vessel or equipment during the rental period beyond normal wear and tear. - Fuel & Cleanliness: Boat must be returned with fuel replaced as used and in reasonably clean condition. - Alcohol & Conduct: Responsible alcohol consumption only. Unsafe or reckless behavior will result in immediate termination of the rental without refund. As per Maryland law you may no consume alcohol while underway or if planning to operating the vessel
