Weather Policy - Safety First: Charters operate at the Captain’s discretion. Tours may be rescheduled or canceled due to unsafe sea conditions or severe weather. - Options: In case of a captain-certified weather cancellation, you will receive a full refund or a flexible rescheduling option. - Monitoring: We monitor marine forecasts closely and will notify you 2 to 4 hours before departure if any tactical adjustments are needed. Note: Heavy tropical rain alone does not cancel a trip if sea conditions are safe and fish are biting. Punctuality & No-Shows - Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. - Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your tour time may be shortened accordingly to respect the crew's schedule and ensure a safe, timely return to port. The charter rate remains the same. - No-Shows: Bookings are considered a no-show 30 minutes after the scheduled departure time if no communication is received. No-shows are non-refundable. Please call or WhatsApp us immediately if you are running late. Safety & Capacity - Life Jackets: Coast Guard-approved life jackets are provided on board for all passengers. Their use is mandatory whenever directed by the Captain or crew. - Children: Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times. - Water Activities: Swimming ability is highly recommended for all snorkeling and beach-dropping activities. - Capacity: To ensure comfort and safety on our 28ft Apex console, the maximum capacity is strictly limited to 6 passengers. Onboard Rules - Containers: No glass containers allowed on board for safety reasons. Plastic bottles, cans, or reusable cups only. - Alcohol: Beer and wine in moderation are welcome. No hard liquor is permitted on board. - Smoking: For the safety of the vessel and comfort of all guests, smoking (including e-cigarettes/vapes) is generally prohibited. Check with the captain for designated safe areas if needed. - Marine Life: We proudly practice sustainable tourism. Look but do not touch marine life, and we strictly enforce catch-and-release for all billfish (Sailfish/Marlin). Payment & Cancellation - Standard Cancellation: A 24-hour notice prior to departure is required for a full refund (outside of captain-certified weather cancellations). - Headcount: Final passenger count must be confirmed 24 hours before the trip. - Final Balance: Any remaining balance must be settled on the day of departure before the boat leaves the dock. Communication - Captain Gerson maintains direct communication before and during your trip. WhatsApp is highly preferred for quick weather updates, location pins, and final coordination.
