Frequently Asked Questions: Do you provide lodging? - From nice Hotels on the beach to condominiums to elegant vacation rental villas. complete vacation packages.  How many years experience do your captain’s have? - Most all my captains have at least 20 years + What kind of equipment do they have, do they supply top of the line equipment? - All the boat’s provide top of the line equipment is from Shimano/Penn/Loomis. Do any of your boats supply fly fishing equipment? - Very few boats supply fly gear, but I personally have 30+ fly rods and reels available. Are all your boats insured? - Yes, most definitely, all are insured. Do the captain and mates speak English? - I only work with boats that have at least 1-3 of the workers on deck who speak fluent English. Are food and beverages provided on your charters? - Yes, all of our boats supply fresh fruit, snacks, lunch and plenty of cold beverages (pop,water,beer). If we catch something to eat will they fillet it for us? - Most definitely, all mates will fillet your catch and prepare it for cooking. Do your boats have clean bathrooms on board for the ladies? - All boats have bathrooms, depending on the size the quality does vary. Do you provide transportation to the boats and back? - In most all cases, yes, I provide transportation to and from the boats. Does the boat have U.S. Coast Guard required safety equipment? - Yes. Do your boats have a proven record of fishing success? - I will not put anyone on a boat that isn’t a top producer. Are the boats always clean, organized and everything working? - All my boats in Costa Rica are in top condition.
