Sail away on a spectacular 16ft vessel in the East Passage of the Puget Sound. Our classic Rainbow Hobie Cat with a new orange trampoline is a fantastic racing or day sailor, or trail fishing boat! This trailered vessel is ready for your trip to the San Juan's or wherever your dream is! Special rates for overnight and week+ trips! We are located 1 mile from the Des Moines public Boat Launch. Sail up to Alki Beach, Over to Point Robinson Light House on Maury Island, Vashon Island, Bake Island, Whidbey Island or have a bigger adventure down the Pacific Coast! Bring a picnic and wow your friends for an unforgettable day or trip! When you instant book or inquire, please specify if you need a Captain or if you plan to Captain yourself, list your certifications and years of experience and if you have ever sailed a Hobie Cat or a Catamaran. You'll need a 1-7/8th hitch ball on your vehicle and a 4 prong trailer plug for the trailer lights. If you don't install yourself, UHaul sells and installs them. If the owner is available, we are happy to drop off and pick up for an additional $50. Thank you! Pricing is $150 weekdays and $200 per hour on Saturday, Sundays and Federal Holidays.

Additional Terms & Information

Must have an ASA Sailing Certificate or equivalent or hire a Captain for this sailing vessel. Renter is responsible for setting up the sail boat and taking it down and driving the trailer and boat. No hidden or extra fees from boat owner. Upon finishing your trip, please spray down the boat (not sheets) with water after use, demast and store sheets & boat in original condition and return to original address. This boat does not have an engine and takes sailing skill to dock. No shows will be charged the regular booking fee. Please be on time. If the weather is prohibitive by the boat owner's determination, you may cancel free of charge. Please make sure to drive the trailer with the boat demast. Two life jackets and one oar provided. No children under 10. Children over 10 must be proficient in swimming in open water, wear a life jacket at all times and be with their parent. No pets as their nails will scratch the trampoline. Two-Three adults is most comfortable. Can fit up to 4 adults. Bring your own lights, warm jackets, drinking water, racing harness and helmet, cell phones and GPS if you need it.
