Enjoy the remote un-spoilt beauty of the East Coast, snorkeling unique locations, swim beneath a glistening waterfall then finish off with a barbeque campfire under the stars. Our guides will help you discover the gorgeous flora and fauna while you participate in one of the many activities and excursions we have available. Whether kayaking, hiking or snorkeling, we can tailor a package just for you. Tours: • East Coast Overnight Snorkeling Adventure: This is our most loved and recommended trip, for those who want the ultimate experience. This package offers shore guided snorkeling in beautiful crystal blue bays where you will experience New Zealand’s marine life first hand under the guidance of a marine biologist Padi Dive Instructor, we may even find a crayfish. Kayaks also available for use. Walk through native bush and swim under a beautiful water fall, picnics on the beach, and traditional barbecue dinners around the campfire with roasted marshmallows. Pickup from Whakatane, Ohope or Opotiki. Price: - $325 NZD per person A minimum of three people are required for the tour to operate. Smaller, exclusive group sizes are available on request for an additional charge. Transfers available from Tauranga or Rotorua for an additional charge. • East Coast Snorkeling Adventure (1 Day): Our  snorkeling location is  a short drive from our Whakatane homestay and offers some of the best shore based snorkelling in the area. Crayfish (New Zealand lobster) and Paua (Abalone) can be sighted snorkeling. The dives are led by a PADI dive instructor and marine biologist, who will be happy to point out the local marine life, plus some great tips to help you catch a classic kiwi delicacy. No experience needed. Snorkeling gear, wet suits and lunch will be provided. Price: - $165 NZD per person A minimum of three people are required for the tour to operate. Smaller, exclusive group sizes are available on request for an additional charge. Transfers available from Tauranga or Rotorua for an additional charge. • Whale Island Snorkeling Adventure: Come with us by boat to Moutohora, or Whale Island and snorkel around it's clearn, pristine bays. Departure is early from Whakatāne, and a short boat ride to the island. Lunch and snorkeling gear provided. Participants must know basic swimming skills Price: - $165 NZD per person A minimum of five people are required for the tour to operate. Smaller, exclusive group sizes are available on request for an additional charge. Transfers available from Rotorua or Tauranga fro an additional charge.

Being a small local ecotourism company, we have a passion to share with you our authentic personalized tours. Specializing in the great-outdoors, we do Snorkeling Trips to Whale Island off the coast of Whakatane. Whale Island itself is a wildlife santctuary, home to many rare birds, lizards and penguins & seals. Enjoy a sailing experience aboard a luxury 12 person catamaran. You can participate in the sailing if you wish or just sit back and relax.Day and Multi Day trips available, we can also provide accommodation. We have highly trained guides who are natives to the Whakatane area. Snorkeling trips are led by a fully qualified dive instructor who is also a marine biologist tof show you the marine wildlife. Our goal is to provide opportunities for locals and tourists to experience New Zealand and the many adventures they can discover within the breath-taking wilderness and along the Bay of Plenty shoreline.
