We've been coming to the Wilmington area for more than 10 years and the only way to really explore some of the coastal areas is by boat. We don't own a boat or have friends with boats so hiring someone with a boat is the only option. We explored the islands north of Wrightsville Beach. He was knowledgeable about the area and pointed out dolphins and different wildlife during the trip.
