Dean was easy to work with, and his dad who was our skipper for the day was so kind and passionate about the water and also willing to share a lot of interesting history about the area! We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the boat. We saw some touristy areas like the blue cave, as well as some small quiet villages for a lunch. Great day with great company! You'll enjoy your boat day if you book with Dean!
Perfect rental experience , will defiantly use Dean again with our next Montenegro holiday ! Easy booking and professional communication, we loved cruising Kotor bay!

Amazing boat and very cool captain. We were a group of 4, we had plenty of space. Boat was clean, big and sturdy. Matthew was super friendly!
Great booking and boat ride experience. Highly reccomened and would opt for a full day ride in the bay of Kotor and Tivat outskirts.

Tivat is a city in the Bay of Kotor on the coast of Montenegro. This small Balkan nation is the perfect stop during a tour through Croatia to Greece, or as a trip on its own if you’re looking to relax and enjoy the sun and surf. It’s a small city that is perfect to explore and enjoy a wander during the summer months and offers excellent food and a welcoming culture.
The best time of year to visit Tivat in Montenegro is during the shoulder months of summer. May and June or September and October are great times to visit since you’ll still get the warm sunshine but without the intense heat and peak prices. July and August are the busiest and most expensive time to be anywhere near the Mediterranean, and even though Montenegro isn’t as famous as Greece or Croatia, it’s still a time buzzing with tourists on holiday. Winter in Montenegro is mild but too cold to enjoy time on a boat.
To get to Tivat from other parts of the Balkans, you can drive in on major highways or by bus or train to the stations in the town. The closest airport is the Tivat airport, which has flights from some major European cities, but if you’re flying from farther away, the Dubrovnik airport in Croatia isn’t far from Tivat, about an hour and a half drive.
