   Josh was one of the best hosts we have ever encountered. He was detailed, helpful, communicative and knowledgeable about the boat, area and fishing. Pick up and drop off was seamless. We appreciated all the help he gave us and the great condition of the boat.

   Love loved this boat. It wasn’t too big for a small group of people and it was very clean and equipped with everything needed. Mari made it super easy communicating and giving instructions. She was very proficient in guiding us around the area and suggesting things for us to do. I would highly recommend. 10 stars

   Mari was an awesome host explaining the boat features. Easy on & easy off. Paperwork was all electronic. We arrived 1/2hr after our agreed meeting time but she started our booked time to when we arrived. We booked 5hrs. Mari gave us advice on where the sandbars were since we captained our own boat. The floating mat added to our fun. On the down-side, the boat with our party of 5ppl did not go more than 8mph. We used to own a 16’ Sportscraft that moved faster than 15mph w/the same # of ppl. However, we were able to get from Joia Beach back to Haulover Boat Launch in under 1hr. since the current was going in our direction & there was minimal winds (favorable boating conditions). If you don’t have “the need for speed” & you just want to chill & swim at the sandbars in Biscayne Bay & hangout by Joia Beach, then Mari’s boat is perfect for you.

   Because of the construction it was a bit confusing finding the boat ramp. However, our experience with Maritza (Mari), was exceptional. At the time of our trip on the Inter Coastal Waterway (ICW) in North Miami, Mari and her mother where in an accident where her mother was badly injured by a hit and run driver. Very sad day for Mari and her family. She could of canceled our trip and dealt with her family, but instead she met us in the parking lot while dealing with the tow truck, police and emergency services and handed us the keys to the vessel we rented. She was very friendly and professional despite the tragedy that just happened with her mother and car. We set out on our trip up the ICW and had a wonderful time looking at all the buildings, private residences and boats. We stopped to fill up with gas at the marina in North Hollywood. Once we filled up, we tried to start the boat but there was just a clicking sound. The boat did not restart. Unfortunately, the flywheel broke causing the starter to not engage and start the motor. We immediately called Mari. She left the hospital where her mom had been admitted for a broken leg from the car accident (very sad) and arrived at our location within 20 mins. My son in law and myself have several years of boating experience and we could of pull-started the boat, but we recommended Mari have the boat towed and have the flywheel replaced to prevent any further damage. Mari drove my family and I back to the boat dock in North Miami. While travelling back she was very informative about area, giving us some interesting facts on the buildings and small towns along the way. In the end, we had a very pleasurable experience!! If I'm back in the Miami area in the future, I would recommend and use Mari and her boat services again.

   Tommy was so great, and thorough with his communication. He even went above and beyond and tacked on a little more time while we got sidetracked snorkeling at peanut island. He included masks and fins and gave us helpful information on the good spots to go. Will definitely be renting from him again!!!
