Canoa havaiana é uma das muitas definições utilizadas para as canoas utilizadas na região do triângulo polinésio. Essas embarcações foram muito importantes para o processo de colonização daquela região, eram utilizadas como meio de tranporte entre as ilhas. Apesar da origem ligada ao tranporte entre as ilhas, as canoas tem sido utilizadas ao longo dos séculos para competições. No Brasil as canoas havaianas têm sido utilizadas para a prática de esportes e ecoturismo. A atividade tem dividido espaço com a stand up padlle, pois embora diferentes, ambos têm em comum o uso do remo e a cultura do surf.

OwnerWe began when Marcelo Caiçara who climbed the coconut trees to take coconuts and sell them to tourists. Drinking coconut water tourists asked how to get on the trails and waterfalls and Marcelo guided them. As time passed the groups grew and wanted to know the trails more long beaches and waterfalls that are difficult to reach. On September 3, 2004 Caiçara Turismo was born.We have grown a lot working with tours of trail, jeep, schooner, diving, rapel ... Created Caiçara Beach, directed to beach activities, with rental of kayaks, stand up, diving equipment, sailboats, sailing courses among other attractions the sea. And more recently the Caiçara Beach Store store that has everything one needs to practice outdoor activities in Ilhabela.
