Dean and Roslyn established the tour company in 1998. Their idea was to create a wide variety of unique adventures such as kayaking and hiking as well more relaxing experiences like snorkeling and glass bottom boat tours. Dean and Roslyn are deeply connected to the Island and its history. Dean has had an integral part in the way in which the island has been managed through his 16 year tenure as the Lord Howe Island Ranger. This extensive experience in the management of the island’s natural environment has enabled him to develop a range of high quality tours that showcase the incredible beauty and diversity of Lord Howe Island’s marine and terrestrial environments. Roslyn, nee Wilson, is a fifth generation Islander who worked for the Island administration for many years. Ken and Jillx, Dean’s parents, also play an integral part in the operation of this family business. Ken and Jill spent most of their lives in the tropics and bring with them the experience and knowledge of diverse and unique environments such as the world’s largest saltwater lagoon, the Marovo Lagoon in the Solomon Islands.
