You must have an insurance coverage for the duration of your trip to ensure you are covered for anything that comes your way on the waters. By signing this waiver: - I acknowledge that boating and water-related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, property damage, changing water and weather conditions, equipment malfunction, and the actions of passengers or other boaters. - I agree to operate and participate responsibly, follow all safety instructions and applicable laws, and assume full responsibility for myself and any members of my party. - I understand that no guarantees are made regarding conditions on the water, and I release and hold harmless the company, its owners, and affiliates from claims arising out of the use or operation of the vessel, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. - I acknowledge I am subject to a $750 fee not paid for by insurance for future motor issues if I hit a sandbar. - I agree to pay a premium rate for fuel and time if I do not fill the gas tank before returning the vessel. - I understand I am subject to a $250 detailing fee if excessive cleaning is needed. - I agree to not operate the vessel after dark.
